Salary: $75,000 - $80,000
This role is responsible for the overall management of transactional relationships between vendor, internal partners and customers for two key divisions of this national organization. This role requires a proactive, project management approach to continuous improvement, quality assurance, and customer service level attainment throughout the procurement, supply chain and sales cycle, and provides Financial, IT and Operations support through analytics and project management.
Responsibilities:

Provides leadership to cross disciplinary project teams and initiatives in support of new business opportunities and process enhancements.

Participates in the development of business unit plans, operating budgets, policies and procedures. Manages comprehensive reporting package for each division's management team, including leading and lagging indicators and performance standards.

Works with Sales Management and Finance in business analytics and budgeting.

Works closely with Supply Chain and vendors to ensure optimal requisition, acquisition, custody and distribution of product. Provides input into inventory modeling and transactional policies. Assists in the evaluation and selection of key vendors and strategic business partners and helps define appropriate service levels.

Manages vendor EDI integration, work closely with IT in interfacing the ERP System & Web Portals with vendors' systems.
Qualifications:
-
5 to 8 years experience in operations, IT and financial management, with a strong knowledge of supply chain processes and analytics.

Project Management Certification and/or 5+ years equivalent working experience with strong knowledge of PM principles and methodologies.

University degree in Business and/or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).

Experience in managing complex integrations (working knowledge of EDI, XML and FTP protocols).

Proven track record of developing and improving business processes.

Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects, with multiple and competing priorities.

Demonstrated analytical skills and past experience in budgeting, forecasting and reporting.

Solid technical skills (Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Project, Power Point).

Above average communication skills, both oral and written, including solid negotiation and diplomacy skills.
