Position: Branch Manager (full time)

 

Location: Willowdale, Ontario (Flagship Branch, 5290 Yonge Street)

 

Job Function: the Manager is responsible for successfully running the branch, building business, motivating staff, encouraging the sales culture and exceeding client expectations.

 

Profile: self-motivated, ambitious, decisive, tactful, strong coaching and communication skills, excellent leadership qualities. Experience managing a branch for a financial institution is required.

 

Position Description:

·      Sells all DUCA products and services, increasing the customer base and market share

·      Prepares and implements plans for business development, in conjunction with senior management, including outside calls, in-branch promotions and telemarketing

·      Building and maintaining relationships with high net-worth clients

·      Responsible for creating and sustaining an environment of relationship management

·      Directly accountable for the quality of the various loan portfolios including personal, residential and commercial

·      Maintains a high level of knowledge with respect to DUCA's products, services and marketing programs/strategies

·      Promotes branch involvement in various organizations to raise the profile of the credit union in the local community

·      Ensures the privacy and protects the security of staff, clients and credit union funds.

·      Advises members in their personal financial affairs

·      Manages all aspects of staffing, including coaching and training

·      Complies with all corporate and regulatory Codes of Conduct/Ethics

 

Skills Required:

·      Good working knowledge of all banking services

·      Seasoned lender, able to process all loan applications received at the branch from application to commitment stage within discretionary limits

·      Ability to lead, guide, coach, inspire, challenge and gain the respect of staff at all levels

·      Ability to train staff and manage performance

·      Mutual funds license (IFIC)

·      Proficiency in Windows
