ASG Security Group is a provider of security services to private sector clients in areas of construction, condominium, commercial, retail, hotels, special events and private investigation services. The Site Supervisor will work closely with the Operations Department and their identified employees and clients, primarily focused to create, maintain, resolve and respond to issues and matters, with respect to policies, processes and procedures related to the site.
Primary Responsibilities
Post Assignment:
•Review the weekly schedules provided by Scheduling and insure that all guards have been assigned to the designated posts.
•Assist with filling any shift where a guard calls in sick or does not arrive for duty
•Communicate any schedule change to scheduling immediately i.e. Scheduled another guard, late arrivals etc.
•Update the post orders for each site to ensure updated information is communicated effectively
•Meet with client on a day to day basses to discuss any issues and to pass on information.
•Review shift and incident reports from previous shifts.
•Ensure guards are aware of all required tasks and duties for the site.
•Provide weekly report to Operations with overview of site activities.
Guard Assessment:
•Verify that all guards are in full uniform according to the ASG corporate guideline, checks must be performed on a weekly basis, a report of which is to be submitted to head office at the end of each week.
•Insure that all guards have been trained on all site specific procedures and the appropriate site knowledge as soon as new instructions are provided by the client/ASG Management.
•Provide training for new guards as well as provide refresher training for the existing guards if required
•Ensure that all guards are performing proper patrols.
•Recommend new Detex points as are required for site.
•Provide a full analysis including to operations and report any compliance issues on a weekly basis
Investigation Report:
•If the Site Super was not present at the site during an incident, then it is the Site Super’s responsibility to investigate the incident and document the details. The investigation report is to be analyzed by the Site Super and analysis provided to Operations immediately.
On Call Responsibilities:
•Site Super must be available to respond to emergency from 11pm to 7am 7 days a week. This may include attending the site in person to evaluate and resolve the problem.
