Interior Designer

Location: Pickering, ON

A Designer/Sales Associate is responsible for the entire communication between a client and Floor and Bath Design from the moment a client walks into the store to the final job satisfaction review. Responsibilities include conducting interior design consultations, providing clients with pricing and information required in their interior selections and accurate paperwork that include CAD drawings for sign off with a client and distribution to construction staff.

A Designer/Sales Associate is also responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service by providing prompt and knowledgeable service, generating sales, and safeguarding company assets.

A Designer/Sales Associate is required to keep up to date on new product and design trends, meet timelines, ensure clients are handled in a professional manner.
Qualifications

- Design degree from a recognized post-secondary institution
- 1-3 years experience
- Knowledge of Computer aided design CAD software — Autodesk, AutoCAD, SketchUp or others
- Excellent communication skills, organization skills, and time management.
- Knowledge of Quick Books
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel

- Knowledge of bathroom and kitchen designs and specs is an asset
- ARIDO Member/Intern Member is an asset
- Construction knowledge, costing projects and preparing contracts is an asset
