We are currently hiring for the position of Procurement Manager to work at our customer's site (An international Pharmaceutical company in North York). The successful candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in managing purchasing team in executing the following purchasing activities.
· Generate project procurement strategy / execution plan.
· Develop a project Bidder List for approval by client. Bidder
· Conduct pre-qualification for vendors according to the client process
· Organize and execute tender packages for various equipment. (Coordinate the assembly of technical package, commercial package, instructions to bidders, etc.)
· Send Inquiry to various vendors and manage quotation collection.
· Lead all the Quotation clarification activities with proper documentation.
· Commercial evaluation and recommendation to the client.
· Vendor awarding and PO (purchase order) placement based on client internal procedures
· Conduct expediting and inspection plan for all equipments
· Expedite vendor drawings, fabrication schedule and delivery, FAT, etc.,
· Perform shop inspection coordination for the material or equipment and develop an inspection and testing plan with client, co-ordinate pre-inspection meeting and all necessary in-process shop inspection for the material or equipment
· Identify and work non-conformance issues and monitor the corresponding corrective actions.
· Develop and update procurement status report.
· Track and record all variation / change orders and update contract values.
· Develop monthly cash flow.
· Provide customs clearance support.
· Check all vendor invoices and co-ordinate with the client project mgr for payment.
· Establish the project procurement filing system and document controlling system for all purchased items.
· Experience of construction contracts administration is a plus”
