Manufacturing Engineer

Our client is a medium-sized manufacturing company based out of Toronto. Well-established in their industry, they have an opening within their organization for a talented early to mid-career Professional Engineer.  This person should be energetic, knowledgeable, values driven with a keen desire to learn. 

The Manufacturing Engineer will report to the General Manager and be responsible to:

·         Learn and master the Production system under the guidance of the General Manager and a PS consultant

·         Implement the Production system and mentor and teach staff, primarily shop floor personnel on this methodology

·         Manage improvement projects and achieve specified results

·         Opportunity to advance to Production Leader

·         Proven experience with process improvement

As the ideal candidate you have:

·         A  Mechanical  Engineering degree or a Mechanical Engineering Technologist Diploma

·         3 - 5 years experience in process improvements
