Our client, a leading Canadian insurer is seeking the aforementioned to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Qualifications:
Ability to lead a team by using excellent listening skills, coaching and mentoring abilities, and proactive approaches
The ability to analyze and interpret statistical information, legal and governmental regulations - knowledge of Accident Benefit legislation
Strong project management skills to scope out projects, deploy and direct resources, set clear objectives, monitor progress, anticipate problems, and evaluate results
Effective communication skills to develop and foster favorable business relationships and tactfully resolve conflicts
Ability to formulate policy and procedural documentation and convey technical or legal information
Must be able to conduct presentations in formal group settings to influence and persuade others
Ability to make decisions in time sensitive situations and take calculated risks. Ability to solve complex problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
University degree or college diploma or achievement of the Chartered Insurance Professional designation
Minimum five years of AB experience
Previous supervisory experience along with former field experience is preferred. Computer literacy is required
