Drafting Technologist

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and draft detailed drawings for architectural approval, shop fabrication & field installations
• Create custom designs as required for architectural approval and proposals
• Provide complete fabrication drawings and bills of materials for each job
• Utilize all forms of architectural metals and/or curtain wall that Flynn offers to its customers
• Work closely with Senior Project Management and Clientele to achieving the overall vision


Skills Required:

• Min 3 years senior design experience, with primary focus being on both the design and drafting of curtain walls and metal panel systems required
• Must demonstrate direct Industry experience in (ICI) Construction and Building Envelope Design
• Strong time management skills to oversee and manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
• Advanced PC skills with proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must be organized and self motivated
• Strong mathematical skills are an asset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Salary for the position will range from $45,500.00 - $60,000.00, based on previous experience and qualificatons. In addition to a competitive compensation, Flynn also offers an excellent benefits program which includes; Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and RRSP matching.
