POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the expanding Relay Software Architecture team, you will work alongside other teams within RIM to develop the system architecture of future generations of the core routing infrastructure which supports BlackBerry. Responsibilities include creating and reviewing high-level architecture documents, performing feasibility studies, evaluating the impact of new features and technologies, supporting the software design teams, and resolving technical issues,. In cooperation with software development teams, the successful candidate will elaborate conceptual ideas into functional prototypes as a method of evaluating technical alternatives and will test the resulting system to determine if it meets system requirements.
The ideal candidate is someone with broad experience in software systems development, design and architecture. R&D experience in the following areas is highly desirable:
