SOFTWARE DEVELOPER     

Our client, a leading provider of risk management services, is seeking an exceptional and entrepreneurial software developer with extensive knowledge base and a passion for developing innovative technologies to develop and maintain propriety software for variable annuities hedging.  The individual will be part of a leading global provider of variable annuity financial derivatives analytics, risk management, and hedging strategy design and execution for insurance and reinsurance companies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain proprietary software stack for Variable Annuities hedging. This includes proprietary high performance computing solutions, GUIs for quantitative development and data visualization, real-time market data and trade data infrastructure, databases schemas, Unix scripts, etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline
• A minimum of 3 years experience developing in C or C++
• Ability to work enthusiastically work in a team environment
• Ability to work on a wide range of technical problems, including but not limited to low-level C optimization of numerical codes, GUI development, middleware development, and database development
• Requires at least 3 years of experience developing in C or C++. Parallel computing and code optimization experience highly desired. Experience with Linux, Python, SQL, and/or C# highly desired
